Absolutely! MAXPRO was designed for anyone wanting to achieve better health and fitness regardless of age, fitness level, or fitness background, and is safer to use than traditional free weights, machines, suspension bands, or exercise bands.
Why is MAXPRO safer? MAXPRO provides all the resistance you need in the concentric motion or contracting motion of an exercise to workout the muscle group you are targeting, but then returns immediately to it’s home position ready for the next rep – so no heavy weights that could crash down or crush spinal columns, or stress joints.. and no dangerous snap back from a loaded exercise bands. (It is strongly recommended you consult a doctor regarding your ability to exercise, prior to using MAXPRO or any other form of exercise). Fitness training can result in serious injury or death. These warnings, combined with a common sense approach to a fitness program designed in conjunction with your doctor, should reduce the likelihood of injury and increase your chances of success.
MAXPRO is extremely effective at building muscle, with many studies validating its unique concentric resistance profile as having equal muscle building and muscle toning effect when compared to other traditional forms of resistance training. Also, because MAXPRO users don’t normally experience DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness), which is basically the pain people feel in their muscles two or three days after a workout, MAXPRO users can workout more frequently and at a higher work rate for higher performance and quicker results. In fact, Many studies conclude that, when matched for either maximum load or work, similar increase in muscle size is found between ECC and CON RT.
However, such hypertrophic changes appear to be achieved through distinct structural adaptations, which may be regulated by different myogenic and molecular responses observed between lengthening and shortening contractions.

Using the MAXPRO provides a concentric biased resistance (CBR) profile. A concentric biased resistance (CBR) profile is different than the traditional workout methods available today. Basically a MAXPRO user will workout the muscle primarily on contraction only.
Many scientific studies (see here, here, here, and here.) have validated the incredible muscle building and toning benefits of CBR which are proven to be comparable to the results achieved through free-weights or cable machines
CBR activates different neural receptors in the central nervous system (CNS) to initiate muscle stimulation and build muscle, and does so without any not Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS)
