5 Delicious Smoothie Recipes to Kick-Start Your Day

Every day, I love having a smoothie to start my day! I feel more refresh, energized, and like I can conquer anything.

To help you kick-start your day, I am going to share with you five of my favorite smoothie recipes that will fill your soul and more! Some of these recipes I created on my own and some of them I found on one of my favorite websites, of course, no other than the Food Network!

Cheers to some delicious smoothies!

FIRST SMOOTHIE: Post Workout Power Smoothie – aka Apple Berry Smoothie


1 Cup Milk of Choice

Handful of Baby Spinach

1 Cup Frozen Berries

1 Banana (frozen is better!)

2 T Peanut Butter

Spash of Cranberry Juice

  • Add a cup of Almond Milk
  • Spruce in a handful of baby spinach
  • Add a cup of frozen berries
  • Peel and chop in 1 banana
  • Drop-in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • Add a splash of cranberry Juice


SECOND SMOOTHIE: Berry Banana Blend Smoothie


1 Frozen Banana

Handful Frozen Bananas

1-2 Scoops Plain Greek Yogurt

Handful of Frozen Baby Spinach

Optional for sweetness: Splash of Apple Juice

  • Peel and chop in 1 frozen banana  
  • Add in some frozen strawberries  
  • Add one/two scoops of plain Greek yogurt 
  • Add a splash of apple juice 
  • Add a splash of almond milk 
  • Place a handful of frozen baby spinach


THIRD SMOOTHIE: Spa Cucumber Smoothie


2 Medium Cucumbers

1 Lime

1/2 Cup Water

2 Cup Ice

Optional: Sweetener of your choice

  • Peel, seed and chop in 2 medium cucumbers
  • Blend with the juice of 1 lime
  • Add 1/2 cup water
  • Add in 1 cup ice
  • Drop in 3 to 4 tablespoons sugar or honey.


FOURTH SMOOTHIE: Blueberry-Banana Blend Smoothie


1 Banana

1 Cup Blueberries

1/2 Cup Unsweetened Milk of Choice

1 T Honey

1 T Lime Juice

1/4 Tsp Almond Extract

1 Cup Ice

  • Peel and chop 1 banana
  • Add 1 cup blueberries
  • Add 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • Drop in 1 tablespoon each honey and lime juice
  • Drop in 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • Add 1 cup of ice


FIFTH SMOOTHIE: Chai Blend Smoothie


1/2 Cup Chai Tea Concentrate

1 Cup Milk of Choice

1 Cup Ice

Sprinkle: Chai Spice or Ground Cinnamon

  • Add in 1/2 cups chai tea concentrate
  • 1 cup each milk and ice.
  • Blend then...
  • Finally, sprinkle onto it some chai spice or ground cinnamon.
