Both the MAXPRO SC and MAXPRO Air deliver a powerful, full-body workouts using our patented concentric resistance system — but they differ in design, weight and resistance range.
- MAXPRO SC provides 300 lbs of resistance and features a dual-sided design, making it ideal for advanced strength training and home gym setups. Unit ships mid-August.
- Our newest release. It offers up to 100+ lbs of resistance and is designed as a single-sided version of the SC — essentially half the size and weight, making it even more portable and versatile for travel or quick workouts. Unit ships in December.
Both models connect to the MAXPRO app for tracking, coaching, and gamified workouts.
When will my MAXPRO ship?

How much resistance does the MAXPRO go up to?
The MAXPRO SC: With just the turn of a dial the MAXPRO can go from 10lbs to 300lbs of total resistance (5-150lbs per side).
The MAXPRO Air: With just the turn of a dial the MAXPRO can go from 5lbs to 100+lbs of total resistance.
Is a concentric-only workout only half of a workout?
No, concentric training is highly effective on its own. A UCLA study found that concentric-focused resistance training leads to significant strength and muscle gains while reducing injury risk. MAXPRO’s concentric resistance optimizes muscle activation, making workouts safer and more efficient.
Do I have to have the app for the MAXPRO to work?
No, the MAXPRO works perfectly on its own. The coaching app is optional but enhances your experience with guided workouts, rep counting, and progress tracking. You can use MAXPRO manually or with the app for added motivation and structure.
Does the MAXPRO SC or the MAXPRO Air have to be plugged in to use?
No, MAXPRO is completely self-powered and does not need to be plugged in for workouts. However, if you want to use it with the app, the Bluetooth module will need to be charged approximately every 60 days with regular use.
