Accessibility at MAXPRO

We want every person who lands on this site to be able to use it — easily, fully, on whatever device or assistive tech they're using. That's not a checkbox for us. It's the whole point of building a gym that meets you where you are.

So here's where we stand, what we're working on, and how to reach me directly if something on this site is getting in your way.


Our commitment

MAXPRO Fitness is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the international standard for making web content usable for people with disabilities.

We're not perfect yet. We're a small team, and we audit this site regularly to find issues and fix them. When we know about a problem, we work on it. When we don't know, we need you to tell us.

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper landmarks (header, nav, main, footer)
  • Alt text on product imagery so screen readers can describe what's on the page
  • Keyboard navigation across all primary actions — shopping, cart, checkout, support
  • Skip-to-content link at the top of every page
  • Sufficient color contrast on body text and primary buttons
  • Resizable text without breaking the layout
  • Descriptive link text (no "click here" — promise)
  • A 30-day return policy and live human support if anything goes wrong with your order, regardless of how you reached us

What we're still working on

I'd rather tell you the truth than pretend everything's polished. Here's what's actively on our list:

  • Adding more descriptive alt text across our full product gallery (we have ~19 images per product page and they currently share alt text — we're rewriting each one)
  • Captioning our product demo videos so the content lands the same way for everyone, with sound or without
  • Reviewing color contrast on a few of our promotional banner overlays
  • Auditing third-party widgets (reviews, chat, shipping) that we've embedded but don't fully control

If something on this site isn't working for you — a broken link, a button you can't reach with a keyboard, a screen reader that's reading nonsense, an image without alt text — please tell me. Don't assume someone else already has. They probably haven't.

We'll respond within 2 business days. If the issue is blocking you from completing a purchase or getting help with an order, tell us — we'll work around the website to make it right (phone order, manual fulfillment, whatever you need).

Assistive technology we test against

  • Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (Mac/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Browsers: latest Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser zoom up to 200%

If you use something else and run into trouble, that's exactly the kind of thing I want to know about.

Third-party content

Our site uses some third-party services — payment processors, review widgets, support chat, shipping partners. We've chosen partners who take accessibility seriously, but we don't fully control their code. If a third-party tool on our site is what's blocking you, please still let us know — we'll either work with the vendor or find a way to help you around it.

Ongoing review

We review this site against WCAG 2.1 AA on a regular cadence and update this page when something material changes. Last reviewed: May 2026.
