In today’s society, it is imperative to constantly remind ourselves that we are not all made from the same mold. We are all unique individuals, born with a specific genetic code that is ours alone. Our bodies are composed of unique bone and muscle structures and we all have totally different brain structures and ways of thinking.All too often individuals find themselves frustrated and cornered due to a certain diet or exercise routine not providing them the same results as their friend or family member. Just as each shell on a beach is unique in its own special way; so are we! Rather than always looking to others, if you really need to compare yourself to someone, compare yourself to yourself. Perhaps a version of yourself from last week, last year, or even 5 minutes ago. Building up the habit of realizing that your body is unique in its own way will greatly benefit you in the long run.
