I am on my third work out and this machine is kicking my bleep! Great workout! Lots of variety that you can do. I purchased everything for the MAXPRO. So glad I got the bench. Definitely worth it and the bench does all the work for me by holding in place the MAXPRO. Next, I need to install the wall mount and can’t wait to try. So glad I purchased vs. the other competitors in this space.
I've had the MaxPro cable machine for about a year. I wanted the bench at that time but money was tight and space even tighter (I live in a motorhome). While I loved the compact MaxPro and used it frequently, it is limited or very difficult to do certain movements without modification.
I was finally able to get the bench and it's a complete game changer! I'm able to do way more movements with ease and due to it's size/ ability to fold fairly flat it fits in our storage bay.
Once we get another sticks and bricks home I'll be adding the wall track as well, but if you can, start with the bench accessory. You won't regret it.
I like how compact and easy to use the MAXPRO SC, but I wish there was a lock mechanism to lock in the weight dial so that the selected weight can't be moved around and got changed accidentally during exercise.
Shipped through usps and got here early then when it said it would.
I hessitated to buy this, I am sure i can modify one of my benches to grab the maxfit pro but that was too much of a PIA. It really adds many exercises with the MaxPro.
one thing that I would have liked is to have different inlcinations but otherwise great product. Happy with it.
This compact machine is great for those who have little space for their fitness activities.
But it lacks smoothness of motion in its pull cords at higher resistance levels, lower levels are fine.
Loving the Max Pro and wall track set up! It’s a great addition to the home gym.
Bench is versatile for MAXPRO and resistance bands
The MaxPro is a resistance monster. Smooth dial turns can rev you up right away. It is the best machine I have found for size, price and utility.
Machine is amazing. Absolutely what I needed for the small space and limited time I have. Now I can workout in the same time it took to drive to and from the gym.
The app needs ALOT of work. The smartwatch (hr) link does not work with Fitbit despite Fitbit because by listed. Finding the friends post is hard. Should be its own tab on the bottom vs hidden in social. Would also be nice to be able to see friend workouts like you can see your own. Click on them and see how hard they worked out and how long. Also when posting workouts you should have a drop down to select what body part worked out, or a text box to write it in. Friends posts also don’t work. My wife and I are both upgraded and linked and we don’t see what each other post to the friends only section.
Focus on the app and you could easily increase your subscriptions.
Add a food tracker with barcode (similar to MyFitnessPal).
Add a calendar so we can schedule out what we want to workout what days.
I was looking for a good workout and I didn’t want a basement full of dumbbells and this fit the bill . Combined with the app and you have a fantastic workout experience. I highly recommend this piece of equipment!
I picked up a SmartConnect base unit, with no accessories, which is a great value for how versatile it is. The door-mount option works okay, on a 36" door minimum. Without the accessories, it's a good place to start in terms of having a wide range of workout options from a device that takes effectively no space whatsoever when not in use. The travel bag is sturdy, and I can absolutely imagine using this to keep up consistent workout routines while on the road. Without the wall-mount and bench accessories, it's limited in what you can do, but the base model is also very affordable, so it's a tradeoff.
I bought mine as a discounted open-box, which worked out great: it had all of the basics, including the lift bar, the split handles, and the wrist/ankle straps, and the door mount system, all in very good condition. That definitely added even more value.
Mine came visibily used, paint chipped and the foam torn on the right food pad. The cables look really worn right at the beginning of the pull. We will see if I get a year out of these! It's definitely a nice piece of equipment, just don't believe where open-box says "looks new".
I love my maxpro its my life line it keeps my my health in check. Each day its my challenge and motivation to be better health wise.
I purchased the certified open box Max Pro and it’s like new! I’ve used it every day since I got it and haven’t experienced any issues. I travel a lot and wanted something that I could take with me. It’s so compact and surprisingly lightweight. As a person who was always fit and life just took over the last few years… I needed something easy to use and this little machine wipes out any excuses I might find to not work out. As others have noted, the paywall in the app is a bummer. I’m using the few free workouts and figuring it out myself. But the machine itself is exactly what I needed. T
Long story short. Trainer and gym rat for 30 years. Too many injuries from free weights. Absolutely love the MAXPRO with rack system. Provides a lot of variables/movements. Hearing a lot about no eccentric phase but I increase my rep schemes and can actually focus more on contraction during concentric phase! Hope the hardware maintains its efficiency and longevity.
I am surprised and blown away by this state of the art equipment. The resistance level makes this a legit muscle building tool and I have been using it for that purpose. I have also been surprised at how many exercises can be done. Absolutely love it.
Glad I bought this. I am 53 years old and it gives me a nice work out.
