Getting Started
with Your MAXPRO Air

Everything you need to unbox, set up, and get moving — right here.

Welcome to
the freedom machine.

I started MAXPRO because I refused to believe that real training had to be tied to a building. The Air is the purest version of that idea — a real cable machine that goes literally everywhere you go.

What you're holding right now is the result of years of obsessing over one question: what's the absolute least you need to get a complete, effective workout anywhere? Turns out — not much. Just this.

Take 10 minutes with this page. Learn your machine, do your first workout, and then just go live your life. The gym is now wherever you are.

So proud you're here. Let's get to work.

Why Concentric Training Works

Peer-Reviewed · UCLA · 12-Week Randomized Controlled Trial

Your MAXPRO Air is powered by the same patented Power Clutch technology as the MAXPRO SC — the machine featured on Shark Tank and tested in a peer-reviewed study at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.

The Air is a concentric-focused cable machine. Resistance is applied during the pull — the working phase — and the cable retracts freely on the return. No eccentric resistance. This is worth knowing: the feel is different from a traditional cable stack, but the results are the same. Actually, better.

Equal Strength Gains

MAXPRO users gained the same strength as people training on traditional commercial cable machines — chest press +14.1 kg, squat press +26.0 kg. No statistically significant difference.

~10% More Training Volume

Without the slow eccentric phase, MAXPRO users completed nearly 10% more total volume per session — in the exact same amount of time. More work, same clock.

Less Soreness (DOMS)

Muscle soreness is primarily caused by the eccentric (lowering) phase. Concentric-only training skips it — so you can train harder, recover faster, and stay consistent.

💡 New to cable training? Start at a resistance you can control with perfect form — it's not about heavy, it's about tension. The Power Clutch rewards slow, intentional reps.

Meet the Verse Mount

Your portable anchor system — included with your Air. Works on squat racks, cable towers, pull-up bars, power cages, and poles. Up and running in under a minute.

  • Find your anchor

A squat rack upright, cable tower frame, pull-up bar, or sturdy vertical pole. Works best on round or square uprights.

  • Wrap & clip the Verse Mount

Loop the strap around your anchor at the height you need, then clip and pull snug. No tools. Under 30 seconds.

  • Attach your MAXPRO Air

Hook the Air unit onto the Verse Mount carabiner. Give it a quick tug to confirm it's locked before loading weight.

  • Dial your resistance & go

We recommend 15–25 lbs for your first session. Attach your handle and start moving.
